What this notice covers

It applies to the public website, the operator console, agency workspaces and the GestFleet Yard Android app.

What GestFleet Yard does

GestFleet Yard is the yard app for agencies using GestFleet. It handles vehicle pickups and returns: photos, mileage, fuel level, damage notes and the customer signature.

Data we process

• Operator login details (username or email and password), sent to the agency over HTTPS.
• A session token stored on the phone so you stay signed in.
• The agency slug chosen by the operator, stored on the phone.
• Vehicle photos taken with the camera or picked from the gallery, uploaded to the agency workspace.
• Inspection notes, mileage, fuel level, the customer signature and movement data.
• Contact and account data entered at signup or in the web workspace.

Phone permissions

• Internet: to reach gestfleet.it and the agency domain (e.g. acme.gestfleet.it).
• Camera: only for pickup and return photos. We do not use the microphone.

Gallery photos go through the system picker: the app does not read the whole library.

Why and for how long

Data is used to run fleet management and yard movements. It stays in the agency workspace for the term of the GestFleet contract. On the phone only the slug and token remain until the operator signs out.

Who receives it

Movement data goes to the agency the operator signed into. GestFleet hosts it on its servers. We do not sell data and the app has no ads.

Your rights

You can ask the agency you work with, or GestFleet via gestfleet.it, for access, correction or deletion.
